HOW to show quick launch toolbar on the task taskbar

Right click the empty area of the task bar .a popup menu will appear.

Click on the properties in the popup menu .task bar and start menu properties dialog box will appear.

Selected the show quick launch checkbox in the quick launch on the task bar.

Clicks the ok button.

How we can to add and deleted the items or icons to and from the quick launch

Locates an item from your computer .you went to quick launch.
Move the item into quick launch by dragging it.
(Now for the deleting) right click on the item in the quick launch you want to delete. a popup menu appear.
Select delete from popup menu .confirm file delete dialog box will appear.
Click on the yes button of dialog box to delete the select item.

How can a files or folder can hidden and visible

Open windows explorer or my computer window.
Choose folder options from tools menu folder option dialog box will appear.
Clicks on the view tab.
Find the entry label hidden file and folders in the advanced setting: box
Select the show Hidden file and folders option and click Ok button. Hidden file and folder will appear as grayed out icon in the explore window.

How we user shutdown and restart window (xp)

Click on the starts button. Start menu will appear.
Select shut down option from starts menu. A dialog box will appear.
Select shut down option to shut down windows.
Click on the box. The system will save necessary opened files on the disk and the starts shut down windows.
For restarts windows
Click on the start button. Start menu will appear.
Select shutdown option from start menu. A dialog box will appear.
Select restart option.
Click on the OK the system will save necessary opened file on the disk and then restart windows.

How we getting help from the windows (XP)

Clicks on the start menu on the taskbar. Start menu will appear.

Click on the help and support option of start menu will appear.
Type a keywords or name of topic for searching in search box.
Enter key on click on the green arrow on the right sides of the text box. The searched result will links of the related given keyword will appear in left pave of window.
Click on the created link in left pane of window. Its detail will appear in right pave of the window.

  Within the broad family of operating systems, there are generally four types, categorized based on the types of computers they control and the sort of applications they support. The categories are:

  Single-user, multi-tasking - This is the type of operating system most people use on their desktop and laptop computers today. Microsoft's Windows and Apple's MacOS platforms are both examples of operating systems that will let a single user have several programs in operation at the same time. For example, it's entirely possible for a Windows user to be writing a note in a word processor while downloading a file from the Internet while printing the text of an e-mail message.
  • Real-time operating system (RTOS) - Real-time operating systems are used to control machinery, scientific instruments and industrial systems. An RTOS typically has very little user-interface capability, and no end-user utilities, since the system will be a "sealed box" when delivered for use. A very important part of an RTOS is managing the resources of the computer so that a particular operation executes in precisely the same amount of time, every time it occurs. In a complex machine, having a part move more quickly just because system resources are available may be just as catastrophic as having it not move at all because the system is busy.
  • Single-user, single task - As the name implies, this operating system is designed to manage the computer so that one user can effectively do one thing at a time. The Palm OS for Palm handheld computers is a good example of a modern single-user, single-task operating system.
  • Multi-user - A multi-user operating system allows many different users to take advantage of the computer's resources simultaneously. The operating system must make sure that the requirements of the various users are balanced, and that each of the programs they are using has sufficient and separate resources so that a problem with one user doesn't affect the entire community of users. Unix, VMS and mainframe operating systems, such as MVS, are examples of multi-user operating systems.
